We recognise that developing positive character is just as important as academic success. Our rewards system promotes qualities such as kindness, leadership, resilience, and community spirit—ensuring our pupils grow into well-rounded individuals who make a positive contribution to society.
Pupils earn Achievement Points for demonstrating excellent effort, positive attitudes, and strong character in and out of the classroom. These points contribute to individual, tutor group, and house totals, helping develop a strong sense of pride, teamwork, and positivity across the Academy.
Throughout the academic year, we celebrate pupil success through a range of initiatives, including:
- Golden Ticket Raffles for excellent attendance, punctuality, and readiness to learn
Houseopoly tutor boards, rewarding tutor groups for high standards in behaviour, equipment, and engagement
- Certificates, postcards home, and Principal’s Praise for exceptional achievements and character
- Access to our Reward Shop, where pupils can spend their achievement points on prizes
- Celebration assemblies recognising success, progress, and contributions to the school community
